[Fun!]

Sebastian:
"Getting to be downstairs is a lot of fun! We got to do all kinds of things. There were new toys to play with. Baskets to sit in and play with. And other cats. The other cats are really big compared to us and it makes us a little wary of them. If they get too close, we get a little defensive."
Alice:
"I liked being able to run around and climb onto the couch. I can also jump off the couch! How fun is that? I agree with Sebastian though, we do get a little defensive in the big cat's territory but they seem to stay away from us for the most part so we are okay."
Willow:
"Wow! What a whole new world. I think that I will throw my timidness out the window and play a lot more since there is now this big open space. I love it out here, there is much more to do downstairs then there ever was to do in the cage, and we get lots of pets out here where everyone can see us!"

Getting to go Downstairs

Our fosters kept us in a room for the first few days, just to see how "we were" they said. Today we got to go outside, well downstairs. They even moved our cage down here.

I'm Willow, exploring is cool.

I looked around then showed one of the house cats that I'm one touch chick! Grr, look at me...

08_19-2

Here is one of those house cats, I think her name is Sophie. She doesn't think much of us at this point, but she sure likes to watch us.

Here is Sebastian, he thinks he is tough because he is a boy. Alice and I know better though.

Alice was looking around to, we all had a great time.

[Anticipation]

Sebastian:
"Today we are going downstairs and we can't wait. We have been spending the morning playing and waiting to be let down there to see what it is!"
Alice:
"How exciting, right!?"
Willow:
"I wonder what it will be like."

[Day Four; Defeat!! Huzzah!]

Sebastian:
"For the past couple days there have been baths and combings and searchings, which we didn't like, but we had fleas....which we also don't like! And we may have finally defeated them. The humans seem hopeful. They said that we appear clean and that tomorrow they will give us one final comb over and then we get to go 'downstairs'. I am not sure what this downstairs place is, but I sure am excited!!!"
Alice:
"I am so happy to not have any fleas anymore. They hurt. Since we are little kittens though, there is only so much that the humans could do to get rid of the fleas that wouldn't harm us. I am glad they did their research and figured out the best course of action... although I wasn't exactly fond of the baths. I could definately do without those."
Willow:
"Yay, no more fleas. Unlike my siblings, I was fine when given a bath. I didn't cry out like Alice did. Or attempted to claw my way up anyone's arm, like Sebastian. I simply let the humans get me clean. I am not sure if its a phase or not, but I am pretty calm in the face of danger! Take that Sebastian, whose a scaredy cat now!?"

[Day Three]

Sebastian:
"Last night was fun because the human whose room we were staying in let us out the cage to play on her lap and that was kind of cool, but I was really trying to figure out how to jump up on to her bed, that seemed like a lot of fun. Unfortunately she stopped me everytime I tired. Today though we pretty much stayed in the cage. People came in and out of the room to see us and pet us, which made us happy, but since we had that bath yesterday and there was talk of another bath today, we pretty much just played amoungst ourselves and slept a lot."
Alice:
"I liked being out of the cage, but we still have yet to get to even explore the room that we are in except for our cage. I think that we get to be let out soon. I hope so, because I want to see more of the world. I am trying to purr extra loud so that maybe my cuteness will make the humans want to let us out early! :-D"
Willow:
"I am starting to get a lot more friendly and I will definately play with your finger if you stick it through the cage. I certainly am still a litle afraid when people reach their hand in to pick me up because I am so little, but I purr and allow people to pet me know. I think that they are nice, I don't know why I ever doubted it."

Nail clipping

The kittens had really long nails so two of us got to work clipping their nails so that there would be minimal injury if the kittens forgot to pull in their claws.
